TRANSCOOL Solutions have been refrigerating vehicles for ASDA's home delivery operation for the last 2 years. Owing to the rapid expansion of the grocery home delivery fleet, ASDA regularly update their vehicles to meet the ever-changing demands of customers.
The demand for home delivery of groceries has seen unprecedented growth over the last 12 months during the pandemic. The likes of ASDA admit themselves how much they have needed to adapt and step up for their customers. TCS are constantly installing ASDA's transport refrigeration solutions on a rolling basis. We have been working around the clock!
We are proud to have continued to work safely through during these difficult times and haven’t missed a day. ASDA have an ambitious target of 1 million delivery slots to fulfil each week and recruited more drivers to ensure that the nation continues to have the food that they need and to protect our most vulnerable members of the community. We have been there for them, keeping vans on the road, so they can be there for you.
2020 has been full of new challenges. Many of these challenges have tested the resilience of the transport refrigeration sector as well as our general way of life. We're proud to have spent the lockdown periods continuing our good work. This has involved a lot of listening to customers concerns, adapting to testing circumstances and finding pragmatic solutions when others can't.
